Terms of Service

Last updated 21 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Yesterday. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Yesterday is operated by MXJQNN LTD., a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 69 Watcombe Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH6 3LX.

The service

Yesterday is a subscription journaling service. You write entries throughout your subscription year, and at the end of it we print your entries as a physical book and post it to you.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to use Yesterday, and at least 18 to buy a subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.

Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, either monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Some plans include a balancing payment, shown to you before you confirm, which covers the cost of printing your first book. You can cancel at any time from the web app, and cancellation stops future renewals.

Refunds

If you are not happy, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.

Your printed book

Your book is produced and posted after your chosen end date, once you have approved it. The number of copies included depends on your plan, and additional copies can be purchased.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you write. You grant us the permission we need to store, process, and print your entries and photos for the sole purpose of providing the service and producing your book. You are responsible for your content and must not upload anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to break the law.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Yesterday available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Ending

You can stop using Yesterday and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
